Mr. Ravi Prakash Verma comes from a legacy of three generations of freedom fighters, social activists, and political figures in India. Both his father and mother have served in the Indian Parliament. Mr. Verma has been a Member of Parliament for over 25 years and is currently a member of the Rajya Sabha (India’s upper house of Parliament). He is India’s foremost champion of education and has also served as the convener of the Parliament Forum on Education, which catalysed the constitutional amendment to the Right to Education Act, ensuring free and compulsory education for children.

Dr. Sampurna Behura
Dr. Sampurna Behura is the Executive Director of India Child Protection (ICP), a leading organization on digital safety, and a distinguished child and human rights professional with over 27 years of experience. She successfully petitioned the landmark Union of India vs. Sampurna Behura case in the Supreme Court, revolutionizing child protection in India. Her work focuses on digital safety, legal reform, and capacity building for systemic child protection. She has served as amicus curiae, led numerous legal interventions, and actively engages with key stakeholders nationwide. Honored with the Fight 4 Justice Award (2024), Lifetime Achievement Award (2025), and Bal Snehi Award (2023).
Dr. Sangita Gaur
Dr. Sangita Gaur has rich experience of 19+ years in training and capacity building, disaster management, and teaching. She has prepared various training materials including the syllabus, training modules, posters, and leaflets on child rights, child protection, and disaster management. She has also worked as a Guest Faculty for MSW students in the Department of Social Work, Jamia Millia Islamia. Before joining ICP, she was associated with the Ministry of Women and Child Development as a Senior Consultant, Child Protection Services. Presently, she is associated with the organisation as Assistant Director and is responsible for ensuring training and capacity building of child protection functionaries across the country.
Dr. Purujit Praharaj​
Dr. Purujit Praharaj is a passionate, focused, and result-oriented research professional with over 16 years of experience in the development sector and has served academic institutions, government and non-government organisations, and consulting firms in numerous capacities. His research expertise is in various domains including Child Rights, Child Protection, Maternal Health, Child Health, Sexual and Adolescent Health, Water Hygiene and Sanitation, Tribal Health, and Development.
He has completed his higher education at premier institutes like the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, and the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai. With a multidisciplinary academic background, he has expertise in developing scientific research strategies using both quantitative and qualitative research approaches and considering ethical implications associated with scientific research practice. He has led several research studies varying from small-scale formative research to large-scale sample surveys investigating a number of issues. In addition, he has multiple publications in reputed peer-reviewed national and international journals.
